Early Release
Final early release day is Feb. 8 at 12:30. Spring Break early dismissal is at 1 p.m. on March 9. Early dismissal day at the end of school is May 25 at 1 p.m.
Family Fitness Night and Health Fair
Join us on February 27 from 6:00 to 7:30 as we celebrate National Heart Health Month with a Family Fitness Night and Health Fair. Students from SFA will provide games and activities focused on health and nutrition, community organizations will be on hand to share ways they can help your family, and we'll have a variety of healthy snacks to enjoy.
Parent Academy
Notice: February's meeting is on Feb. 7 due to the second Tuesday being Valentine's Day!
Join us each month on the second Tuesday at 5:15 for our Parent Academy! This year we are focusing on Conscious Discipline. Conscious Discipline helps the children to be conscious of the choices they make. It also helps the grown-ups in their lives to remain calm and composed and use misbehavior as a means to teach. For more information, contact Mrs. Walker, our counselor, at 630.4506.
Jump Rope For Heart
Dunbar PE Department will sponsor a fundraising drive for the American Heart Association during Feb/March. Information will be coming home with your child in mid February. Then, join your child during their PE time on Friday, March 23 to Jump Rope for Hearts! Send in the donation evelope on that Friday, and have a great time strengthening hearts in PE!

Help us earn money for our school by clipping the Box Tops from General Mills and partnering brand products. Our school receives 10 cents for every Box Top collected!
